  • What stats are tracked
  • How stat tracking works

Statistics

Keysight keeps track of MIDI note-on(*) events from the live input MIDI device.(*) Turbo note testing(*) and MIDI file playback(*) do not trigger stat tracking. Both aggregate and individual count bar graphs can be hovered over to display the specific note count of that pitch.

The core of the Stats system is simply an 88-entry list containing the number of times each note has been played. Stats also keeps track of the maximum-achieved notes-per-second value (calculated by incrementing a counter by 1 each time a note is played, and then decrementing the counter by 1 one second afterwards). Session versus Global

There are two tabs: Current session and All sessions. Current session begins each time Keysight is launched or the "reset session tracking" button is pressed. (It is possible to use this current-session-reset as a means to measure notes in a specific piece of music.) Reset
